MAZE

We are a group comprises of 3 students from Faculty of Management, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. This blog is created under the instruction of our MMB2014 lecturer as our Final Assignment.

The theme of our final assignment is.... 

"Promote Tourism – Malaysia Holiday Destination"

Based on the theme given to us, our tutorial group (BC271B) have chosen 'Islands' as our topic. As there are quite a few sub-groups in our tutorial group, each of us would focus on different islands in Malaysia. Maze, have chosen "Pulau Tioman" as our topic.Hence, this blog will soon be filled with information related to Tioman.

Before we proceed with the rest of the details, let us introduce ourselves first.

Our Initial Proposal 




Objective

In conjunction with our theme
"Promote Tourism – Malaysia Holiday Destination"
and the tagline of our group which is "...Marine Exploration"

Our main objective is to promote the vast variety of water sports and activities that one can indulge while in Pulau Tioman.

Other than that, we would also provide guides on all the hot spots in Tioman, accommodations (ranging from the luxurious Japamala to the most affordable motels and homestays), eatery places, and of course where to shop. We will try to provide a concise and accurate travel guide for the ones eager to explore Tioman.


Demographics Of The End Users / Target Audience Profile

Since we are students ourselves, we understand the needs of our own age group. Therefore, we chose to grab the attention of those in their 20's to mid 30's

Since those in this age group are mostly techno-savvy, it is highly likely for them to use the internet to browse for information compared to those from the older generations. Hence, chances are these enthusiastic, young and eager 20's-30's will come across our blog and uses the information we provide.

To gain trusts from these targeted audience of ours, who are mostly motivated by peers we will be including some real experiences and comments from REAL people who have visited Tioman Island before as their references.



What Will We Do With This Blog?

As our tagline '...marine explorations' suggested, we would focus more on water sports and activities in Tioman. But aside from that, we would also include other aspects of Tioman such as its history and its legend. All other general aspects for a tourist like accommodations, eatery and shopping hot spots will also be included. Our team will cater to both those who travels for the sake of traveling and getting to know the place and also to those who choose to travel with luxury (often applies to foreigners).
